AXIS feet for side-to-side movement

The KICKR V6 indoor trainer stands on adjustable AXIS feet that allow up to 5° of lateral movement, similar to the natural movements you make outdoors during a sprint or climb. Three sets of feet are included (hard, medium and easy) so you can decide for yourself how much flexibility and movement you want.

Automatic calibration

If you let the flywheel gradually spin to a halt during a training session or race, the KICKR automatically detects this and starts the calibration process on its own. This ensures that its power measurements remain accurate to within ±1%, and you don't have to initiate the calibration yourself.

Wi-Fi connectivity and Race Mode

As well as Bluetooth and ANT+, the KICKR V6 also connects through Wi-Fi for a faster and more reliable data signal. In Race Mode, it transmits your power data via Wi-Fi up to 10 times faster than via Bluetooth, giving you that little bit of extra advantage during crucial moments in a race.

The KICKR V6 can simulate a negative gradient of up to -10% but this is achieved purely by reducing the resistance. It is not, therefore, an active descent simulation where the trainer uses a motor to drive the flywheel and push you forwards, as is the case with the Tacx Neo series, for example. Can you tell the difference? During a "descent" on the Kickr V6, you will feel less resistance but the trainer does not actively push your legs forward.

Compatible with:

• Road bikes, gravel bikes and mountain bikes with rear wheel sizes 24-inch, 650c, 700c (road/gravel) or 24, 26, 650b, 29 inch (MTB).
• Hubs with 130/135 mm quick-release, or 12x142 mm / 12x148 mm thru-axle (adapters for both are included).
• Shimano cassettes:
  9-speed: all models
  10-speed: all models
  11-speed: all models
  12-speed: road cassette
  SRAM cassettes:
  9-speed: all models
  10-speed: all models
  11-speed: all models
  12-speed: SRAM XD-R freehub required
  Campagnolo cassettes:
  For 9- to 12-speed, you must first install this freehub body on your turbo trainer.
• Bikes with disc brakes (brake caliper spacer is included).
• Optional upgrades: KICKR CLIMB (using the separate Climb Adapter) for an even more realistic climbing sensation, and KICKR HEADWIND fan.

Not compatible with:

• Bikes with a Shimano CUES/LinkGlide drivetrain – the included 11-speed cassette is not compatible with this. If your bike has such a drivetrain and still want to use this trainer, you will need a different, compatible cassette.
• Bikes without a standard rear wheel size/axle standard (see above) – if in doubt, consult Wahoo’s own compatibility checker.

Check your bike's rear hub to see what type of axle you have: a classic quick-release (130 or 135 mm) or a thru-axle (12x142 or 12x148 mm). Both are supported, using the adapters supplied as standard. If you are unsure about your cassette or drivetrain (for example, if you ride with CUES/LinkGlide), please contact our Customer Service team before placing your order.

Not included / still required or useful:

• A different cassette, if you are riding an 8/9/10 or 12-speed groupset (the one supplied is 11-speed) or have a CUES/LinkGlide drivetrain
• A front wheel support to keep your bike level on an uneven floor
• A Zwift or other training subscription, if you want to ride using apps such as Zwift (not included)
• A trainer mat, such as the Wahoo KICKR Floormat, to protect your floor and reduce noise

• Choose the AXIS feet that suit your preference: Start with the medium option and switch to hard (less movement) or easy (more movement) if you need to.
• Use Race Mode during virtual races for a faster and more reliable data signal via Wi-Fi.
• Let the automatic calibration do its job; you don’t need to adjust any settings yourself – the trainer recognises when it is needed.
